How lovely! I too have chooks and did the same as you just this week! Unfortunately it's too cold here to grow my own lemon tree so I had to pay extortionate prices for them at the supermarket instead. Another lovely maths project is 4 lemons plus 4 eggs = lemon curd (lemon butter in Australian)
